Attendance Matters. When students are present on a consistent basis, their learning is heightened and their test scores rise. Consistent attendance builds a habit of being in school. When students miss school, they have to work twice as hard to get caught-up and learning is sacrificed. Research shows that January is a time when students learning is at it’s highest for the entire school year. As an encouragement to Attendance Matters, we are doing an attendance incentive during January 20-24th with the entire school.
If your student is here every day during the week of January 20-24th, they will be rewarded with a sweet cold treat.
Thank you to Chris White at Albertsons for the donations to this cause.
